OU's Hester Hall renovation & expansion plans receive approval
University of Oklahoma (OU) Board of Regents has given the green light for a $13.5 million refurbishment and expansion of its Hester Hall.
The hall accommodates the new College of International Studies. The project will involve construction of an addition. The addition will be created on the western portion of the building and will serve as the front door of the college. The expanded part will consist of a lobby which will cover two levels. It will also house office space, as well as a study area.
In addition, scope of work will include creation of another smaller addition which will cover a single-level. Offices, classrooms, a conference room, along with a seminar room will be among the various features of this small addition.
