Oak Leaf Village apartments to undergo upgrades
The Oak Leaf Village apartments in North Brunswick, New Jersey, US is set to undergo a facelift.
The project will involve a facelift of all 183 units in the 16 apartment buildings of the property and creation of a playground and community centre.
All the apartments of the building will be equipped with central air conditioning following the makeover. Every unit will now also incorporate a washer and dryer. Outdated staircases will be phased out whereas old balconies will be eliminated. A maintenance garage will undergo a transformation to create the community center.
The township will finance $5.25 million for the project from the North Brunswick Affordable Housing Trust Fund. The project is expected to have a duration of 18 months.
