A new landmark building for New York city is to be designed by British practice Foster + Partners.
New offices for a partnership of L&L Holding Company and Lehman Brothers Holdings (LBHI) will be in a new 40-storey tower at 425 Park Avenue. The building will aim to create an enduring landmark that befits its exclusive location, and is uniquely of its time and its place, says Foster + Partners, which won the commission following a six-month long international competition. fosterandpartners.com
