A new Hilton property named as Hilton Garden Inn has opened at the Texarkana Convention Center in Texarkana, Texas which is touted as the city’s first upscale hotel.

Located at 2910 Cowhorn Creek Loop, the new hotel features 154 upscale contemporary guest rooms which includes 25 upscale suites. All the rooms offer large work desk, ergonomic Mirra desk chairs by Herman Miller, microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker and complimentary Wi-Fi.

It also features pool, whirlpool, fitness centre, business centre, restaurant and lounge. Accommodating as many as 1,500 guests, the hotel coupled with the adjacent convention center, offers 25,000 square feet of flexible meeting space, which includes a 6,000 square foot outdoor event plaza, and covered patio.

The hotel will be operated by Concord Hospitality, Inc. a Raleigh-based operator of more than 85 hotels in 22 US states and Canada.
