New Exchange Square mixed-use scheme in Birmingham receives planning permission
Planning permission has been received for Exchange Square, the second phase of the Masshouse development in Birmingham, UK, which is a new mixed-use scheme named as Exchange Square.
The new mixed-use Exchange Square will be developed to include 600,000 square feet of Grade A commercial space across two buildings. It will feature retail on the ground floor, a 200-bed hotel and apartments. All these will be set around a new public realm.
Providing a natural extension to Birmingham’s existing core and connecting the city to the on-going regeneration of Eastside, Exchange Square is designed to be delivered in phases.
