Nationwide Children’s Hospital opens second sports medicine centre
Nationwide Children’s Hospital has opened the Dublin Sports Medicine and Orthopedic Centre in Ohio, US.
The centre is the second of its type to be built in the region by the hospital. The two-storey facility spans over an area of 25,000 square feet. Its first level comprises clinic area, casting rooms and radiology services.
The second floor of the building sports a performance arena consisting of advanced exercise equipment. The same storey also imbibes a track comprising two lanes, as well as basketball and dance space. Among the various other features of the new centre are large areas donning mixed-use sports and activity flooring.
In addition, two Dublin Close To Home Centres will relocate to the new facility following its completion. These include the Sports and Orthopedic Physical Therapy services at Perimeter Drive's Dublin Close To Home Centre, and Sports Medicine, Orthopedic and Functional Rehabilitation clinics at the Dublin Close To Home Centre on Venture Drive.
