MSU's Student Wellness Centre to complete construction soon
The new $15 million Student Wellness Centre of Minot State University (MSU) in Minot, North Dakota, US is nearing completion.
The new building will span over an area of 60,000 square feet and will imbibe several open spaces. It will feature a pair of intramural courts, a student weight room, and athletic weight room, a wrestling room, and cardio room. The facility will further house rooms for Zumba, aerobics and other classes, meeting areas, as well as a separate climbing boulder outside.
Another unique feature of the new facility will be a rock wall covering three floors. The wall will be developed by Eldorado Climbing Walls. It will be encompassed by glass which will offer the climbers glimpses of the facility's interior.
The centre will also comprise two open gyms with one of them fitted with a wood floor. The other gym will incorporate a multi-activity floor which has been designed to accommodate three courts of activities simultaneously.
The new centre will be attached to the MSU Dome while a skywalk will link it with the revamped Swain Hall.
