Morelato launches Carambola side tables by Maurizio Duranti
Italian furniture maker Morelato has launched the Carambola side tables.
The furniture line, designed by Maurizio Duranti, replicates carrom billiards games. The game also serves as the source of their name Carambola which refers to carroms. The items have a diameter of 50cm while measuring 55cm in height.
The tops of the table are lacquered and offer options of a host of shades to meet individual tastes of the users. The frame of the piece is made of cherry wood, and painted ebony. A total of three legs act as the support for the tables with their design drawing reference to cues. The legs are formed of cherry, maple and wenge wood.
