Moorhead & Moorhead creates Felt chair for Lerival
New York-based furniture firm Lerival has launched felt upholstered chair.
The piece has been designed by Moorhead & Moorhead. The shape of the seat is reminiscent of a saddle which is created by a series of folding patterns. The chair primarily consists of a sheet of industrial felt, which is folded as well as riveted to simultaneously create structural volume and upholstery. The other elements used in the structure of the chair are aluminium and fastening rivets.
The item measures 14 inches in width and 17 inches in depth. The height of its seat is 17.25 inches. The design of the furniture makes it a contemporary statement piece which can be used to adorn any type of space.
