Microsoft to open 32 pop-up stores in US, Canada
American multinational corporation Microsoft has announced openings of 32 pop-up stores in US and Canada for this year's holiday season.
Out of 32 pop-up stores, 30 will be opened at US and two will be opened at Canada. All the stores will feature four curved tabletops at the front and rear side walls, and a rectangular band displaying changing video images on the walls.
The new holiday pop-up stores will display Windows 8 and Surface tablet, ahead of the holiday shopping season. The pop-up stores will provide the opportunity to the customers to see, check and analyse the products before purchase.
No date has been specified for the opening of the new pop-up stores. The company has also not mentioned whether these pop-up stores will remain open throughout the year or will be closed after the holiday season.
