Menhir floor-standing vessel from LAUFEN receives 2012 GOOD DESIGN Award
Menhir floor-standing vessel from the Palomba Collection by the Swiss bath specialist LAUFEN, in collaboration with Roberto + Ludovica Palomba, has received the 2012 GOOD DESIGN Award in the Bath and Accessories product category.
Featuring a smooth and elegantly designed shape, the Menhir floor-standing vessel has been developed meticulously to provide a different design element to the aesthetic of the bath area.
Menhir, which means tall stone in Breton, justifies its name by featuring a tall structure designed with a ceramic, oval shape. Embodying an organic elegance in its design, the nature-inspired Menhir floor-standing vessel creates a sensuous bath atmosphere.
The GOOD DESIGN Award, presented annually by the Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and the European Centre of Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies, is awarded to those who show excellence in product design across a number of categories.
