Meliá Dubai opens doors

Spain’s hotel group Meliá Hotels International has opened its first property in the UAE, named Meliá Dubai.

The hotel has been designed by architect Marco Mangili. It houses 164 guestrooms and suites which integrate a classic elegant look with contemporary European style. The guests rooms are large and comprise modern-looking bathrooms fitted with rain showers and separate signature bathtubs. The look is accentuated with use of warm shades, luxurious fabrics, and a vast selection of furniture pieces. The hotel also sports the Titanic restaurant by Marco Pierre White.

The second phase of openings at the new hotel will launch the signature spa concept Yhi Spa, Indian Master Chef's first UAE restaurant named Signature By Sanjeev Kapoor. The property is also due to incorporate The Level selection of rooms and suites and a private lounge, as well as the Mansion nightclub.
