May Design Series to excel for second year in London
May Design Series event returns on 18 May to Excel London for its second year.

The three-day event aims to unite retailers, contractors, architects and interior designers to 'do good business' in its five design districts: The Furniture Show; DX; Lighting (including Arc); Decor, and Kitchen + Bathroom. Some 400 exhibitors will be joining the line-up at May Design Series, many of whom plan to use the UK's definitive furnishings fair as a platform to launch their latest collections.
New to May Design Series is lighting company Philips, which will be showing its LivingSculpture 3D module system (pictured above). Designed and developed by Christopher Bauder for hospitality or commercial environments, the system enables designers to produce 3D arrays of OLEDs for walls and ceilings and further allows designers and artists to adapt it to their own vision. The OLEDs' light is intended to be bright but not dazzling, which allows viewers to admire it for as long as they wish.
