Matej Chabera unveils Set 02 collection
Czechoslovakia-based designer Matej Chabera has designed a new stool and table collection called the Set 02.
The Set 02 consist of a raised countertop and bar-style chair, which offers comfortable seating. The designer has used traditional materials for the collection.
The range boasts of minimalistic typology and has been created using powder coated steel, painted ash veneer and Italian upholstery leather. The powder coated steel sheets are laser cut and bent to create a clean design.
The table features a raised height, which helps in bringing people standing and sitting at the same eye level. This feature of the collection helps in spontaneity, expression and direct communication. The design of the chair also keeps the seated person in a active aware position rather than a relaxed sleepy one.
