Marriott International has announced plans to open its first Courtyard branded hotel - Courtyard by Marriott Bucharest - in Bucharest, Romania.

The Courtyard by Marriott Bucharest will be located in the city center, in close proximity to the business district and transport links. Designed for the business travellers, the hotel will boast a portfolio of 147 guestrooms.

The architecture of the new hotel will be in sync with the design of Courtyard by Marriott brand. The guestrooms will be marked by chip and spacious interiors, offering plenty of work space. The lobby will have stylish, contemporary and functional design. Along with comfortable seating, the lobby will also offer GoBoard application which offers information on various local topics through its interactive touch screen LCD TV.

Other amenities at the hotel will consist of all-day dining restaurant serving menu inspired by local cuisines; meeting space and fitness centre with sauna.

The hotel is expected to open in early 2014.
