Marriott International in partnership with Colombian construction company Inrama S.A, has announced plans to open the first Courtyard by Marriott brand hotel in Bogota, Colombia.

Embracing Colombia's vibrant culture and offering upscale amenities to the travelers, the new hotel features a modern, functional design.

Located on Avenida El Dorado, the upscale hotel will feature new modern 146 guest rooms and will be part of a mixed-use complex, which will include prime office and retail space.

Designed to cater to the needs of the business travelers and pleasure travelers alike, the new hotel will feature a business lobby, lobby bar, a casual dining restaurant, and flexible meeting space. In addition, it will also feature recreational facilities including a swimming pool and sauna.

The hotel is scheduled to open its doors to the guests by April 2014.
