Marazzi opens new showroom in Milan

Marazzi, a manufacturer of stoneware flooring and wall tiles, has opened its new showroom at Via Borgogna 2 in the heart of Milan’s design district, featuring a display area of about 400 square metres.

The display space, designed by Uainot’s Gianluca Rossi, consists of zones on several levels intended for consumers, with interiors featuring Marazzi coverings. It also features new architectural solutions from Marazzi Engineering (raised floors and ventilated curtain walls) and Marazzi Tecnica (systems of materials, colours, sizes and surface finishes) for professionals.

Specific sectors are dedicated to the Triennale Project, the new edition of the four curves tile designed by Giò Ponti, the new slimline tiles, and the Marazzi bathroom world, with display solutions that allow visitors to enter and experience the spaces created.

The floor consists of a succession of finishes and materials in an intentionally irregular alternation, designed to invite visitor to choose his own path. A garden is featured which is hidden behind the display window along with an enormous sphere that bathes both the perspectives and the visitor in its soft light. The lower floor is more intimate and domestic. It contains four bathrooms, in each of which the visitor can feel at home.

The showroom provides the latest novelties in the Marazzi collections: Treverkhome in the new Larice and Olmo (larch and elm) versions, Treverkatelier, the new wood-look collection with a worn, lived-in look, the tactile surfaces and the new large sizes in the SistemN technical stoneware range, Brooklyn, the stoneware with the original formwork-effect surface, and Oficina7, the new slimline large-size Marazzi wall covering.
