Mansell, a Balfour Beatty brand, has started construction work on the £6.2 million ($9.50 million) new Corby Technical School in Northamptonshire for the Brooke Weston Trust.

Designed to cater to 475 pupils, the two-storied building will include a sports hall and technology area. Apart from that the Corby Technical School will also feature a library and a theatre.

This new school building has been designed to enable exploration of every inch of technical abilities. The design includes glass-fronted classrooms.

Adding to the impressive group of secondary schools in the town, the new Corby Technical School in Corby will be completed by the end of 2013. It is being built under the Government's Academies Framework.
