Loughborough University has incorporated hardware products from British manufacturer UNION to develop its 3500-capacity stadium in England.

Loughborough University's new stadium employs UNION’s Optimus lock cases and keyULTRA masterkey systems to provide reliable security and effective key management.

KeyULTRA system was specified for its brand heritage and solid durable properties. It was supplied by Robert Pochins of Long Eaton to allow ease of access to users with multiple permission levels, while protecting the sports facilities against illegal key copying.

According to the supplier, KeyULTRA cylinders are resistant to attack by plug extraction, drilling, chisel, picking and bumping, making it one of the most resilient locks in the market.

The University has developed the stadium to create a permanent home for their football club and to host key fixtures for other sports.
