Loews Hotels & Resorts breaks ground for new hotel in Chicago
New-York-based hospitality brand Loews Hotels & Resorts, in collaboration with DRW Trading Group, has broken ground for a new hotel named as Loews Chicago Hotel, which is designed by American architectural firm Solomon Cordwell Buenz.
Adding to the portfolio of Loews Hotels, the new Loews Chicago Hotel will feature 400 upscale guestrooms, including 36 suites. It will also feature a signature restaurant, more than 25,000 square feet of innovative meeting space and multiple outdoor terraces.
Besides that for relaxation of guests, the hotel will offer a spa/fitness centre and an outdoor rooftop, including a pool overlooking the city.
The hotel will be part of a highly visible 52-storied tower comprising of the Loews Chicago Hotel and 398 luxury residential apartments. The hotel is scheduled to open by 2015.
