Liquid Glacial Coffee Table wins Contemporary Design award

Liquid Glacial Coffee table, designed by Zaha Hadid, has won the 2012 Contemporary Design Piece award at Pavilion of Art+Design in London.

Made with polished plexiglass clear material, the new Liquid coffee table reflects craftmanship and art in its creation. Embodying surface complexity and refraction within a powerful fluid dynamic, the new coffee table features a flat glass tabletop, which sports a transformed look of water, which seems to be created by the subtle waves and ripples.

The legs of Liquid Glacial Coffee table sports a frozen water look, which seem to pour from the horizontal in an intense vortex. Sporting a stylish as well as creative look, the new coffee table is 2500 milimetre long, 870 milimetre deep and 870 milimetre tall.

The Pavilion of Art & Design London is the international fair embracing 150 years of fine arts and decorative arts of the 20th century.
