Lantz begins construction on new women’s center in Virginia
US-based Lantz Construction Company has commenced construction of a new Rockingham Memorial Hospital (RMH) Funkhouser Women's Center in Harrisonburg, Virginia.
The new Women's Centre will be a 15,700 square feet facility that will be built on the campus of RMH Healthcare. The centre will offers several services directed at women's healthcare, which includes imaging services, such as advanced breast imaging/mammography and bone density screening.
The centre will also house RMH Breast Care and the office of Dr. Heidi Rafferty, the Image Recovery Center, and RMH Heart Check (for both men and women). The new center will also have space to accommodate additional clinical space (for breast surgeon), larger imaging services, and conference rooms for education and support groups.
Partners Excavating Company has begun sitework at the project site. The RMH Funkhouser Women's Center is scheduled to open in mid-to-late summer 2013.
