Lanterra Developments plans for new residential scheme in Toronto

Toronto-based condominium community developer Lanterra Developments has revealed plans to build a 50-storied condo on a portion of a 0.84-hectare lot at 11 Wellesley St. in Toronto.

The proposed condo tower will be surrounded by a 0.6-hectacre community park. The condo would also include office space in its podium and retail stores at ground level, such as a restaurant backing onto the park.

Inspired from the curvy Aalto vase, the condo tower will feature a curvaceous form on the corners. There will be no sharp edges to the building at all.

The building will be a gradual transition from the eighth floor down to a three-storied podium, creating large, sinuous terraces as the tower steps down to meet the park.
