Kraus-Anderson to build new pre K-12 school in Minnesota
US-based Kraus-Anderson construction company (KA) will build a new $28.8 million United South Central School in Minnesota, which will be designed by Minneapolis-based architectural practice SGN/Wendel.
The new school will replace the former school, portions of which, were originally built in 1933. Spread over 155,000 square feet of space, the new pre K-12 school will be located on a 66-acre site.
Upon completion, the new school will feature a new bus garage and athletic facilities, including practice fields, varsity fields and tennis courts.
The new pre K-12 school will serve approximately 625 students. The construction for the project will begin in spring of 2013 and is expected to be completed by September of 2014.
