Komfort's Klassic system installed in Sandvik's UK office
Sandvik has renovated their UK office with Komfort's Klassic system.
The project, managed by Planned Office Interiors, called for refurbishment of the current offices and meeting rooms. The brief required incorporation of clean lines and a timber centric design to match up with the look of the firm's Sweden head office. This resulted in selection of Klassic Steamed Beech characterised by a strong veneered style and clean lines.
The building's two stories have been equipped with the Klassic system. A series of private meeting rooms located on the lower level sports double glazing which provides a maximum acoustic protection of 41dB (Rw). The meeting rooms also feature integral blinds to ensure privacy.
The second floor of the building comprises bespoke manifestation displaying Sandvik’s core values in the glazing on the breakout room space, and more standard manifestations abiding by Part M of the Building Regulations.
