Designer ShanShan Wang has designed an innovative tap called Koeda Intuitive Mixer Tap which is inspired by the forms of the nature.

The Koeda Intuitive Mixer Tap is a sinuous glazed porcelain basin mixer that precisely controls the flow and temperature of water. The tap is operated by gently rotating dial. It has an aerated spout, which is angled at 15 degrees that minimises excess splashing.

The tap is handcrafted in porcelain and finished with a flawless glaze. To manage the directional flow, the tap has an aerator, which also softens the water’s texture for a silky, gentle wash.

The tap features a series of six LED lights, which are powered by two lithium cells. The lights change from a light sky blue to a warm orange and finally to a dark searing red, indicating the mix of cold and hot water.

ShanShan Wang has also won 2012 Reece Bathroom Innovation Award in the student category for Koeda Intuitive Mixer Tap.
