Klober highlights building fabric airtightness at Ecobuild

Klober will be on stand S2945 at Ecobuild focussing again on principles of building fabric air permeability, airtightness and the provision of effective ventilation in roofs.

Its publication 'Taking Control of Air Leakage' and subsequent 'SAP Analysis Supplement' outline the benefits of building to low levels of air permeability while examining specific improvements that can be achieved over the default Target Emission Rate in England and Wales of 10 m3/hr per m2. The research findings demonstrate the U-values, levels of airtightness and other measures needed to comply with Approved Document L1A and Level 4 of the Code for Sustainable Homes.
