KCM Group completes new Sycuan Government Center in California
US-based KCM Group has completed construction of the new $4.6 million Tribal Government Center Complex for the Sycuan Band of Kumeyaay Indians in San Diego, California.
The project involved construction of the Tribal Government Center and Administration Building, which together span an area of approximately 16,000 square feet. The new building houses the Tribal Council offices, Tribal Council Chambers, legal and administrative offices, and offices for Tribal development, accounting, and support services.
The main building has a striking new entrance which features cast columns and a classic pediment. The lobby of the building features custom tile flooring and custom Japanese cherry millwork. The new facility is located overlooking the Reservation. In addition to new office block, the project also includes a parking lot, extensive landscaping, new underground utilities and infrastructure.
The buildings were constructed in compliance with several sustainable practices which have been visible throughout.
