Karim Rashid designs Karan kitchen for Aran Cucine
Renowned industrial designer Karim Rashid has designed a new kitchen concept called Karan in HI-MACS for the Italian kitchen manufacturer Aran Cucine.
Based on an island, the Karan concept of the kitchen made of HI-MACS acrylic stone, features a tapered silhouette. The mixer tap and LED lights withdraw into the worktop when not in use. Creating a handy dining area, the functional Karan kitchen also features a chopping board which fits over the sink.
Featuring soft curves on the kitchen's wall mounted unit, the kitchen features an opening with rounded edges, which provides a space for cooking and food preparation within the unit. The Karan kitchen features a non-porous surface, which makes it easy to clean, and provides extreme resistance to heat and household chemicals.
Featuring soft and fluid design, the Karan kitchen concept is designed as a new addition to the modern kitchen range.
