James Uren creates Luso Lounger
UK-based designer James Uren has created the new Luso Lounger.
The design of the new lounger is a contemporary take on the Chaise Longue. The item is hand-crafted and comes up with a footstool which enhances its functionality. The footstool makes it suitable to serve varied functions such as a daybed, chair, as well as a footstool, apart from a lounger.
The under-frame of the piece is made of American cherry. The look is complemented by the furniture's shell which is formed of lacquered plywood. The lounger is available in a wide array of timbers. It can also be custom-tailored in various types of coloured fabric to suit individual tastes of the customers.
