ISG completes Mansfield House fit-out in London
UK-based construction services company ISG has completed a remodelling and fit out of a new luxury build home, dubbed as Mansfield House, within the estate of the first Earl of Mansfield’s former mansion in Hampstead, North London.
ISG scope of work range from structural modifications and internal layout to complete a wide-ranging fit out of the Mansfiled House, which was formerly built by a different contractor. The scheme was designed by US-based architect Garnett & Partners, while Tim Gosling provided interior designing services for the scheme.
The newly completed house boasts the grandeur of the SS Normandie, an art-deco classic. The basement of the house accommodates a large heated swimming pool, a lounge area, high specification cinema, a games room and staff quarters.
To increase the grandeur quotient of the house, ISG has installed eglomise mirrored panels, gilded coffer ceilings and black and gold marble flooring. The Mansfield house will also have luxury fittings and joinery elements, including a bespoke kitchen and a custom-made chandelier, which has been exclusively designed by lighting designer Sharon Marston.
ISG will also provide hard and soft landscaping for the scheme. It will install a copper water fountain in the garden area. The company has completed the installation of complex control system with lighting, AV and radio systems in every room connected through a central building management system and controlled via a remote control touchscreen interface. The entire building, including the passengers lifts, has a climate control system.
