IHG to open two new hotels in Riyadh's KAFD
IHG has struck a deal with the Rayadah Investment Company to open two new hotels in King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The hotels include the Hotel Indigo Riyadh KAFD and InterContinental Riyadh KAFD. The former is the first Hotel Indigo to open in the Middle East. It will house a total of 225 rooms including the double-height royal suite. The suite comprises a balcony which overlooks KAFD. The property also comprises a business centre, three meeting rooms, and fitness facility. Among its other features include an all-day dining restaurant, a speciality restaurant, a lobby lounge café, swimming pool, as well as secret garden.
The other hotel will sport 218 rooms which includes 57 suites. It will consist of four meeting rooms, a pair of board rooms, a dedicated press room, along with a spacious ballroom. Other features of the property include seven food & beverage outlets, and a large fitness centre with lap pool.
