Hyatt Place Raleigh West/RBC Centre opens in Raleigh
Hyatt Hotels & Resorts has opened the Hyatt Place Raleigh West/RBC Centre in Raleigh, North Carolina.
The hotel houses 132 large guestrooms. All the rooms have been equipped with the Hyatt Grand Bed, a sectional sofa sleeper measuring eight feet, and a 42-inch HDTV. The building features a master suite spanning 1200 square feet. The suite sports a spacious sitting area, conference table, king suite and adjoining king suite.
The facility consists of 5500 square feet of meeting and pre-function area. The area, with a capacity to house up to 150, has been fitted with built-in screens to facilitate presentations and offers wireless internet access. The hotel also features the Guest Kitchen, and the Intimate Bakery Café.
Further, the hotel incorporates various green features. It includes installation of LED lighting fixtures, high-performance HVAC units, and motion activated thermostats in all its guestrooms which reap energy cost cuts. The landscaping of the facility too, has been designed to reduce energy usage. The hotel also uses 30 solar panels to produce hot water apart from solar powered trash compactors which further lead to energy savings. Use of butane gas in the transportation van of the hotel adds to the sustainability.
