Hyatt Hotels & Resorts has entered into an agreement with Island Hospitality Partners, LLC for $38 million Hyatt Place hotel in Manatí, Puerto Rico.

The five-storied Hyatt Place will include 104 guest rooms with an adjoining 11, 500 square feet casino, and a free-standing casual dining restaurant. It will also feature spacious guestrooms with a bed, cozy corner sofa, and flat panel TV.

The hotel will offer a social area with a comfortable coffeehouse vibe, guest kitchen, market, cafe, and bar. Other amenities will include flexible meeting space, a 24-hour fitness centre, outdoor swimming pool, and free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel.

Upon completion, Hyatt Place will become the second Hyatt Place hotel in Puerto Rico. Hyatt Place Manatí is expected to open in early 2014.
