Hyatt Hotels to open first property in Mallorca
International hospitality brand Hyatt Hotels Corporation has entered into a management agreement with the Spanish real estate development company Cap Vermell Hotel Proyectosy Promociones, S.L., for a new hotel called Park Hyatt Mallorca in Spain.
To be the first Hyatt-branded hotel in Mallorca, the Park Hyatt Mallorca will be a 142-room luxury resort hotel, which will be built in the style of a traditional Mallorquin hilltop village with references to local art and culture.
Employing state-of-the-art technologies and standard services, the hotel will provide various upscale amenities to its guests, which includes two restaurants; a lounge bar serving coffee, sandwiches and light snacks; and a poolside bar offering seasonal snacks.
It will also feature a separate beach club, more than 13,000 square feet of meeting and event space, and a 13,000 square feet spa and fitness centre.
The Park Hyatt Mallorca is scheduled to open its doors to the guests in 2015.
