Hotel Indigo San Diego Del Mar opens after overhaul
IHG has opened the Hotel Indigo San Diego Del Mar in California, US after a multimillion-dollar makeover and rebranding.
The hotel, housing 94 rooms, incorporates a contemporary look with modern furnishings. The revamped guest rooms have been equipped with new furniture pieces, luxurious linens, tiled bathrooms, countertops in granite, and spa showers, and don warm shades. The rooms also sport flat screen HDTVs, and iHome stations following the facelift while offering internet access. Each room of the hotel is now adorned with murals drawing reference to elements of the Del Mar Racetrack and local beaches.
The remodelled property features a pair of ocean-view terraces whose design has been conceived by local design firm Design Line Interiors. Among its various other features include a fitness room, business centre, spa, two pools, hot tub, sauna, and bistro-style restaurant with a full bar. The public areas of the hotel provide Wi-Fi service.
