Hotel Amarano completes major expansion
Hotel Amarano in Burbank, California, US has completed a $10 million expansion.
Cynthia Forchielli and Helen Glynn of Los Angeles-based Forchielli Glynn LLC were the interior designers of the expansion. A significant feature of the expansion includes the new Chairman's Penthouse Suite spanning 2,300 square feet. The suite is located on the penthouse level of the property. It features a private and spacious terrace sporting al fresco dining in its own cabana, whirlpool, fitness equipment, and comfortable deck chairs.
The living room of the new suite dons a large-scaled photomural offering views of the Burbank skyline at dusk, and a large sectional sofa. Its interior incorporates a stylish yet understated look with predominance of natural walnut hardwood floors and shimmering, and textured wall coverings. Aqua and ivory shades in various textures are set against richly stained wood furnishings with polished chrome accents in the room.
The project has also led to the creation of 32 new guestrooms, large swimming pool, cabanas, as well as an advanced fitness centre. The master bathroom has now been fitted with limestone flooring, double vanities, and separate shower and bathtub for two people. The expanded property also comprises wet bar at the entry level, wall-mounted TV measuring 50 inches, four-poster bed, and LED reading lights.
