Homes by Skanska wins approval for new residential project in UK

Homes by Skanska, the residential property arm of Sweden-based Skanska AB, has received planning permission from Cheltenham Borough Council for a new residential development in Cheltenham.

Named as Trinity Square, the project will deliver 143 residential units, which will be a mix of four-bedroom townhouses, as well as a range of one, two and three-bedroom apartments. All the apartment blocks will have underground parking garages.

Reflecting the Scandinavian architecture along with contemporary style, the design of the new homes will focus on maximising natural light and flexible, open-plan living space.

Each unit will have high ceilings throughout, and feature large windows and built-in storage. The homes will be designed to achieve level 4 of the Code for Sustainable Homes. The other components of the development include public open space for all residents.

The project forms part of Cheltenham Borough Council’s North Place car park redevelopment project, located on the northern edge of the city centre.
