Holland Jachtbouw launches 40-metre Rainbow super-yacht

Dutch shipyard Holland Jachtbouw has launched the 40-metre J-class super-yacht Rainbow.

The vessel has been remodelled by Dykstra & Partners Naval Architects in tune with the original concept of William Starling Burgess. The same firm has collaborated with deVosdeVries on the design of the yacht interior. Elevated and fielded mahogany panelling as well as art deco detailing serve as the predominant design features in the interior of Rainbow.

The vessel features an owner’s stateroom, as well as two ensuite twin guest cabins. Both the twin guest cabins have been equipped with a Pullman berth. The cabins for guests have a combined capacity to house a maximum of eight. The yacht also comprises separate accommodation for its seven crew members.

The decks of the vessel incorporate a clean look by sporting only a mahogany doghouse and skylight. Its hull dons a jet-black tone. The super-yacht has been built entirely in aluminium and complies by J-class Association maximum performance norms.
