Hoek Design to design TC126 superyacht

Dutch naval architecture studio Hoek Design has signed a contract to design the 38.4m TC126 superyacht, which is from the Truly Classic series.

Being the largest Truly Classic superyacht till date, the TC126 superyacht will offer versatility, layout, performance, keel configuration and sail plan.

To provide a luxury cruising experience, the superyacht design features an aft owner’s stateroom leading to a private deckhouse and aft cockpit. It also features a full-beam lower saloon just in front of the stateroom, which creates a dedicated interior owner’s area, offering lots of privacy.

In addition to that, the new TC126 will include two guest suites aft of the main deckhouse. Featuring a separate laundry, mess and galley, the new superyacht can accommodate five crew members in three cabins.

On the deck, the aft cockpit contains a helm station connected to a navigation deckhouse. For privacy, the navigation station can be transformed into the owner’s office. The yacht offers a dining area to port, a settee to starboard and a small pantry on the main deckhouse.

Flaunting a classic look, the interior of the superyacht features raised and fielded panels and white painted panels above the wainscot. It also features a small fireplace in the lower saloon of the yacht.

The TC126 superyacht will be constructed by Claasen Shipyards. The construction will commence in January 2013 and will be completed in early 2015.
