Hilton Worldwide has announced plans to expand its chain in Iraq with the development of the first Hilton Hotels & Resorts property in the city of Erbil.

Nestled among the extensive, landscaped grounds in an upscale residential and commercial district, the new Hilton Erbil Hotel & Spa will be located in North of Erbil, an area marked for its picturesque, mountainous landscape.

 

The accommodation options at the new Hilton Erbil Hotel & Spa will consist of 300 guestroom rooms including 30 suites and 10 chalets. The hotel will also offer a health club, a spa, a retail arcade as well as an outdoor and indoor swimming pool.

 

The gastronomic options at the newest Hilton will consist of two specialty restaurants, an all-day dining area, destination bar, lobby lounge and pool bar. To cater to the requirements of the business travelers, the hotel will offer five meeting rooms, two boardrooms and multi-purpose ballrooms with capacity for up to 1000 people.

 

The Hilton Erbil Hotel & Spa is scheduled to open in 2016, and will be the second Hilton Worldwide property in Erbil.
