Hilton Worldwide debuts in Argentina
Hilton Worldwide has opened its first hotel named as the Hilton Garden Inn Tucuman in Argentina, which is a 103-room, new-build hotel.
Forming a part of the Central Tucumano mixed use complex, the new 103 room Hilton Garden Inn Tucuman has been designed with an emphasis on the local culture and history. Designed by the artisans from Calchaquies Valley, the decorated pots are featured in each guest room to provide a traditional look and feel. The walls are adorned with original prints with themes depicting the different indigenous groups of the area.
To provide ultimate staying experience to the guests, the guest rooms feature comfortable bedding, LCD high-definition Smart TV, easy-to-set alarm clock with MP3 connectivity, a spacious work desk, and a hospitality centre that features a mini refrigerator and coffee maker.
The hotel's lobby features a nature-inspired green wall made of expired Palo Santo trees that are native to Northern Argentina. In respect to the environment, no live trees were used when creating the decorative wall.
The hotel offers various dining options like a contemporary full service restaurant, which overlooks the pool, a bar and the 24-hour Pavilion Pantry shop. The recreation options at the hotel include outdoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, solarium, and a complimentary fitness centre and spa facilities featuring cardio and strength training equipments.
Additional facilities include large locker rooms, as well as a dry sauna and indoor jacuzzi. Guests will also have access to Central Tucumano, the restored complex featuring a convention centre, shopping, dining, cultural attractions, theatre and access to the historic Mercado de Abasto market. More than 8,500 square feet of meeting space is also a part of the hotel, including a more than 4,000 square foot ballroom with capacity for 400 and a 24-hour business centre.
