Hilton Worldwide has announced plans to open a new DoubleTree at Johor Bahru, Malaysia.

DoubleTree at Johor Bahru will be located within the Central Business District (CBD) of Johor Bahru and will be close to the border causeway crossing between Malaysia and Singapore. The hotel will have 365 guestrooms accommodated inside a 30-storey hotel tower.

The guestrooms consist of 350 rooms and 15 service apartment units. The other amenities at the hotel include an all-day dining restaurant, a specialty restaurant, a deli café, a lounge and two bars, a fitness center, as well as an outdoor pool, built along side a car parking.

To meet the requirements of business travelers, the hotel will also house a business centre and a 400-square meter ballroom and three meeting rooms. The hotel is scheduled for opening in mid-2014.
