Hilton opens its tenth Home2 Suites hotel in US
Home2 Suites by Hilton, the mid-tier, all-suite hotel brand designed for modern business travelers and extended-stay guests, announced the opening of its tenth US hotel in Biloxy, Mississippi.
The Home2 Suites Biloxi North/D'Iberville is the first hotel by the brand in the Gulf Coast and also first in Mississippi. The hotel is located at 3810 Promenade Parkway in D'Ibervill. The five-storey hotel offers 100 suites, designed specifically for business travelers. The hotel is also pet-friendly and includes an outdoor area dedicated for the pets.
Amenities for the guests include an outdoor, heated saline pool, overlooking the Tchoutacabouffa River. The hotel features common elements of Home2 Suites brand, which includes the Oasis lobby area, the Home2 MKT for grab-and-go items, Spin2 Cycle and the Inspired Table.
The hotel has iterated typical sustainable features of the brand, which includes water efficient plumbing fixtures (dual-flush toilets and showers and faucets), CFL light bulbs, recycled flooring, saline pools, and Energy Star appliances. The hotel has also used carpet, and other material and surfaces which have recycle origin.
The landscape enveloping the property has water efficient, indigenous plants. Additional sustainable credentials include use of real china dishes, glasses and mugs instead of disposable utensils and crockery.
