Helio baths and basins from William Garvey
UK-based bespoke furniture maker William Garvey has launched a range of circular teak baths and basins named Helio.
Helio baths are unique pieces of timber engineering. Made to individual order, each piece is unique, customized to customer specification.
The Helio features a circular structure with a diameter of 1,700mm. The bath is made by fusing complex interlocking joints and features a smooth, curved finish with contrasts between the wood grain in the different layers. Teak is used for construction as it offers natural warmth, thus keeping the water warmer for longer.
The Helio basin is complementary in shape. It can be used on its own. When incorporated into a wash stand, the company calls it a Fusion basin.
