Heineken unveils new nightclub prototype at Milan Design Fair 2012
Heineken has unveiled a crowd-sourced nightclub prototype at the Milan Design Fair 2012 held in Italy.
The yearlong project of the prototype of a futuristic nightclub involved 19 designers throughout the world including designers from Tokyo, Sao Paulo, Milan and New York, along with insights from 100 clubbers from over 20 cities.
The club features six key areas which includes a space for connecting. One of these areas feature interacting games to boost interaction. Another area comprises an interactive bar surface and connect people in playful ways. There is a space for discovering which has been adorned with a host of interactive features like lighting which allow people to see different images in the area.
The facility comprises a dance space equipped with advanced video mapping technology. It also features a lounge area sporting an origami-shaped wall and fitted with angular seating facilities. In addition, there is concierge service to guide club-goers.
