HAY launches Bjørn sofa
Danish firm HAY has launched the new Bjørn sofa.
The new sofa is light and features soft rounded shapes. The frame of the piece dons a slender form. It is formed of extruded aluminium and provides choices of chrome, powder coated or upholstery in the sofa's fabric. The look is contrasted by its large body and legs which lift the seat from the floor and gives the furniture a light feel. The armrests of the sofa have been designed to hug the seat.
The item features minimum stitching. The seat, backrest and armrest bear one piece fabric upholstery to offer a soft and round look to the edges. Bjørn comes in a three-seater version sporting two wide seats. The model measures 227.6cm in length, 79/57cm in depth, and 45cm in height. It retails from £1949 ($3,080.34) RRP.
