Hatteras Yachts to launch 30.48m 95 Raised Pilothouse in mid-2013

US shipyard Hatteras Yachts is set to launch the 30.48 metre composite super-yacht 95 Raised Pilothouse in mid-2013.

The vessel will be characterised by contemporary lines created by the yard's in-house team. It will comprise spacious interior areas and outside spaces featuring a large sundeck covered by a hardtop. The yacht will also sport a large flybridge fitted with modular furniture pieces to allow customised configurations. Among its various other features are a grand side entrance with spiral staircase, al fresco dining suite, an observation lounge, and custom wet bar.

The standard layout of the yacht interior will feature four guest cabins including a full-beam master, a VIP, and two twin cabins on the lower deck. All these cabins will have a capacity to house a total of eight. Presence of large rectangular portholes will optimise natural light penetration at this level. The design of the vessel will also allow option to create a master suite on the main deck replacing the spacious American-style galley. The yacht will also feature quarters for its crew members positioned aft of the engine room. A bustle door in the transom or a discrete stairwell off the aft deck will allow access to these quarters.

The vessel will possess propulsion including the economic version powered by two Caterpillar C-32 engines, and a muscle version powered by twin MTU engines. The former version will offer a cruising speed of 19 knots, maximum speed of 25 knots, and a range of 679 nautical miles. The latter will provide the yacht a cruising speed of 24 knots, top speed of 29 knots, and range of 492 nautical miles.
