The SYLKA collection of carpets and rugs, designed as an alternative to silk, bamboo and viscose carpets and rugs, will be showcased in an exclusive window display at the Harrods department store in London.

Developed using the NuSilk fibre system, SYLKA is being utilised by Sara Cosgrove, Head of Interior Design at The Studio, Harrods. The display showcases SYLKA, which replicates the delicate aesthetic qualities of natural silk with durability and longevity.

The Harrods window will feature SYLKA Opulence collections and SYLKA Royale collection. Unlike natural silk, SYLKA retains its beauty and delicate touch after cleaning and can also be spot cleaned without leaving a watermark.

Offering a natural silky lustre and softness along with longevity, zero fibre loss, lasting colour and easy maintenance, the SYLKA carpets and rugs can be used in luxury apartments, penthouses, and private residences, luxury super yachts and corporate enterprises.

Available with a commercial grading, the new SYLKA carpets and rugs will be launched in February 2013.
