NetJets, a business jet charter and aircraft management company, has broken ground on a new passenger terminal solely for NetJets customers at Palm Beach International Airport in Florida.

The new NetJets terminal will be a 10,000 square feet facility, which will sprawl over a six-acre site that was formerly a Golfview site in the city near Military Trail and Belvedere Road. The site offers rapid access to major roadways and the commercial terminal.

The new terminal has been designed in a way that it will streamline passenger transition to and from the aircraft ramp. The facility will have modern furnishings and will be complete with conference and business centre, crew lounge and rest areas and flight planning facilities.

Construction of the facility will entail an investment of $13 million. The new NetJets terminal is scheduled for opening in 2013.
